CHECK OUT THIS EPIC CUSTOM PETERBILT RACE TRANSPORTER

This is an achievable dream, right?
…right?

Old school Peterbilt. Custom race trailer. Black on black paint scheme. This race hauler is the boss of every pit paddock it enters.

We’ve got a serious racing rig to share with you today. This is the custom-built race transporter setup for Tennessee-based 2nd Helpin Racing. And thanks to Elegance on Eighteen Wheels magazine, we get a guided tour inside and out.

The first thing you’ll see is the classic Peterbilt prime mover up front. It’s a timeless American shape that overcomes its aerodynamic disadvantages with brute force under the bonnet. And the sleeper at the back is just about as big as the apartment this is being written in. Maybe we shouldn’t admit that.

Moving on, and the 56-foot race trailer it pulls is seriously impressive. The crew can relax in luxury with a full bathroom equipped with a shower and a beautiful living space up front. You can see that no expense has been spared in the fit out, right down to the flooring.

The bottom level of the trailer is a workshop that would put many dedicated garages to shame. Blow up the absolutely wild drag racing machine (we think) this thing carries and the crew would have every chance of building it even better on the go. And while we don’t see it in this video, we can only assume there’s ample space for the Hemi V8 weaponry up top.

You can watch the full video by Elegance on Eighteen Wheels magazine below, topped off by the beautiful engine note from the big Pete on the move.

What do you reckon? Is this the race hauler of your dreams?
