Recapping a big weekend of race transporter movements for the Mount Panorama 500
The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship season is officially in motion as the teams head back to base following the opening round of the season at Bathurst last weekend.
It was the first time in nine years that the Supercars Championship has started its season away from the Adelaide Parklands Circuit, with the team transporters travelling north and south, rather than west.
The Red Bull Ampol B-Double transporter had the honours of hauling the winning machinery home, with Shane van Gisbergen’s twice victorious Holden ZB Commodore loaded back into the B-Trailer on Sunday night.
The Super2 Series, Touring Car Masters, Toyota 86 Racing Series and Aussie Racing Cars transporters also made their way to the undulating Central Tablelands circuit in New South Wales.
Below are some of the best shots snapped before, during and after the Mount Panorama 500.
