SPOTTED: SUPERCARS TRANSPORTERS IN SYDNEY
The Repco Supercars Championship is firing on all cylinders in Sydney’s west
The Supercars hit the track again last weekend in the second of four consecutive rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park. And this time, some unsettled Sydney weather rolled in to spice things up on Sunday.
With back-to-back race weekends, most of the big rigs hadn’t moved much since rolling into the New South Wales capital last month. The exception was Brad Jones Racing. The Albury-based B-Doubles hit the Hume Highway and headed back to base after the Sydney Motorsport Park opener and returned in time for set up on Friday.
The Team 18 Kenworth T909 also left its parking spot in the paddock last week, but it was only to be pulled by Sydney strongman, Troy Conley-Magnusson, during a promotional stunt in the staging area.
The teams set up for the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight on a cloudy day last Friday. With preparations in full swing, expert Supercars snapper, Ross Gibb, took a couple of photos of the rigs in formation in the paddock.
Ross also grabbed some photos on a much brighter Saturday, and then got drenched for the cause under lights on Sunday evening. Another big thank you to Ross for braving the elements to get us some photos from the paddock.
