IVECO has supplied no less than 12 Stralis trucks and a Daily van for Alfa Romeo Racing’s 2019 Formula 1 campaign.

Yep, you read that right. It’s a fair dinkum fleet!

IVECO fans, we'll let you take a quiet moment after seeing 12 brand-new units lined up behind the 2019 Alfa Romeo Racing fighter.

The partnership between the Italian automotive brands was revealed late last month at a ceremony held in Hinwil, Switzlerland.

Here’s what both sides had to say about it starting with Frédéric Vasseur, Team Principal Alfa Romeo Racing and CEO Sauber Motorsport AG.

“It is a pleasure to welcome IVECO to Alfa Romeo Racing as Official Truck Partner. Having a reliable and safe means of transportation for our equipment is an essential aspect of our logistical operations in Formula One. With IVECO, our team has an experienced partner by our side and we look forward to this collaboration.”

And from the IVECO Schewiz side, CEO Thomas Rücker.

“We are thrilled to be entering into a partnership with Alfa Romeo Racing and to have the opportunity to provide our vehicles for logistics purposes. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to be able to support a Swiss racing team – especially since our power trains were also developed in Switzerland. Swiss Power Inside or Swissness – with all its precision and merits – is a gene that is common to both our enterprises. I am delighted that this makes such a clear statement about strong cooperation between brands. I wish Alfa Romeo Racing a highly successful new season – empowered by IVECO.”

If you’re heading to any of this year’s Formula 1 European Grands Prix, look out for the Stralis fleet in the paddock. They’ll no doubt make for quite a spectacle.
