WATCH: TCR, PORSCHE AND TRANS AM TRANSPORTERS DEPART SYDNEY MOTORSPORT PARK

It’s time to hit the road, and turn plenty of heads on the way

Sydney Motorsport Park hosted the fifth event of Australian Racing Group’s 2021 calendar, and the Western Sydney venue attracted plenty of entrants.

The TCR Australia series drew one of its largest fields to date, with the burgeoning category backed up by immaculate presentation of the transporters. The teams were quick to pack up and head back to base after the third and final race of the weekend. Watch them weave their way out of the paddock below.

The Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge was also well-attended, headlined by endurance-style events that gave plenty of track time to the flat-six racers. Like the Carrera Cup, the teams brought some serious weaponry to cart their precision-engineered race equipment. Click the link below to see some of their rigs on the move.

The Australian Trans Am Series continues to go from strength to strength. It’s a distinctly American formula, with brutish V8 power under the bonnet of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro and Dodge Challenger-inspired body shells. There are some seriously cool American-style trucks that make the Trans Am racing happen, headlined by Paul Freestone’s incredible Peterbilt 379. Watch it in action below.
