TRANSPORTER PARADE SIGHTS AND SOUNDS

Thousands of motorsport fans lined the streets of Bathurst yesterday to watch the Supercars transporters complete their trip to Mount Panorama Circuit.

The Supercars Kenworth B-Double led the way from the Dunlop Tyres rig, the DJR Team Penske MAN B-Double and the Triple Eight Race Engineering IVECO pair.

The full field of transporters parked up at Mount Panorama Circuit early in the afternoon with the teams making their final preparations for the biggest race weekend of the year.

The Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 gets underway today with three 60-minute Supercars practice sessions. The Mount Panorama Circuit paddock is also filled with transporters from the Dunlop Super2 Series, Toyota 86 Racing Series, Touring Car Masters, ECB SuperUtes and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia.
