TAKING YOU TO ADELAIDE

Pack your bags folks, we’re all squeezing in the IRWIN Racing Kenworth T610 for the big trip to Adelaide!

In a long-awaited step for our dedicated transporter tribe, IRWIN Racing and the team’s truck driver, Colin Schwartz, have very kindly given us the opportunity to ride in their truck from Melbourne to Adelaide early next week. 

Our plan is to paint the most comprehensive picture we can of a Supercars transporter's trip to the track ahead of a race weekend. That will include plenty of photos, video snippets, the usual written stuff and more! 

We’ll be departing from IRWIN Racing HQ in Mount Waverley, Melbourne early on Monday morning and descending the Adelaide Hills that evening. The trip west will tally something in the range of 750 kilometres.

On Tuesday morning, we’ll hop back in the team’s Kenworth T610 and capture the rolling billboards enjoying a bath at a truck wash before watching the transporters roll into the Adelaide Parklands Circuit with the precious cargo onboard in the afternoon.

From there, the realities of life will drag us kicking and screaming from the City of Churches and back to the 9-5 on Wednesday morning. None of the glitz and glamour of South Australia's biggest race weekend for us. **Sighs**
