PAUL EDDY HANDS OVER THE CONTROLS

Say it ain't so! Paul Eddy, the man behind the wheel of the Brad Jones Racing Freightliner B-Double transporter, has ended his stint with the Albury-based Supercars outfit.

Widely known in Supercars circles as Stax Freightliner, the stunning Freightliner-powered B-Double has proven an enormous hit on social media with Eddy at the helm. His amusing captions and expert photography have earned Stax Freightliner 6066 Facebook followers, 4873 Instagram followers and 1066 Twitter followers.

Fortunately, the Stax Freightliner social media journey will continue in 2018 with a social media specialist waiting in the wings to steer and document the Brad Jones Racing B-Double’s travels across thousands of kilometres of Australian bitumen.

In a social media post confirming his departure from Brad Jones Racing last night, Eddy acknowledged the thousands of online supporters making up the burgeoning Stax Freightliner fanbase.

“Thanks for your support over my journey. I’ve made some good friends and had the chance to meet some great people,” said Eddy.

“Most importantly, the Stax Freightliner journey continues. Just changing the photographer. As I go back to the real world, we have another social media guru ready and waiting to tackle the demanding life of a Supercar truckie.”

“I’m now looking forward to seeing what 2018 holds for Stax and all my BJR friends.”

We congratulate Paul Eddy on pioneering the presence of Supercars transporters on social media and recognise his kind support over the past year.
