MEET THE NEW-LOOK IRWIN RACING TRANSPORTER
There will be some sore necks when this one hits the highway.
A new look for the Team 18 transporter broke cover at the launch of Mark Winterbottom’s IRWIN Tools-backed ZB Commodore on Thursday evening.
Held in Mount Waverley, Melbourne, the launch saw the transporter roll into the factory first with Winterbottom’s IRWIN Racing Holden Commodore Supercar close in tow.
The team’s transporter driver and tyre engineer, Colin Schwartz, was at the wheel of the team’s Kenworth T610 prime mover covering the first of many thousands of kilometres this year.
On the Irwin Racing Transporter Facebook page, Colin thanked Kenworth Australia and Hallam & Bayswater Truck Centres for bringing it all together.
Its first official duties in IRWIN Racing colours is a trip to the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit for the official Supercars test day on February 14.
