GALLERY AND FOOTAGE: SIMPSON SPEEDWAY STAKEOUT

Checking out the sprint car transporter arrivals at a big speedway meeting in Western Victoria

When we saw an entry list of 38 sprint cars for the Australian 360 Sprint Car Titles at Simpson Speedway, we weren’t going to miss the chance to catch some of the country’s best speedway transporters rolling through the gates.

And while the wet weather in Western Victoria did little to support our transporter spotting efforts, the speedway trucks delivered. As always, there was plenty of variety in prime movers, trailers and configurations to haul the weaponry to battle on a muddy Simpson Speedway surface.

You can find the full gallery of arrivals here, all the video footage cut together here, as well as some trademark Pestka Motorsport Kenworth engine braking here

Make sure you check out us out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube for all the latest Australian speedway transporter content.

We’ve got plenty more transporter spotting opportunities pencilled in for the remainder of the 2020/2021 Australian speedway season, pandemic permitting.
