How about this for a piece of detective work?

With the Adelaide 500 edging closer, we are seeing a few more glimpses of the spectacular transporters that will power the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship this year.

To our knowledge, the first photo posted of the Milkwaukee Tools-backed 23 Red Racing rig emerged on the Stillwell Trucks Facebook page on Thursday. It was snapped by Richard Huer after a chance sighting at Pheasants Nest in New South Wales. After we shared it on Friday morning, Richard posted another photo on our Facebook page which you see above.

It’s a menacing setup, too. Pulled by a Freightliner Argosy with a blacked-out grill and Barup Bullbars chrome, the B-Double transporter features a black lightning bolt separating the red and white Milwaukee Tools corporate colours. With the single-car operation based in Kilsyth, Victoria, this transporter will carry the FGX Falcon of Will Davison in his return to the Blue Oval this year.

It was a big weekend in transporter land with Nissan Motorsport and Mobil 1 Boost Mobile Racing revealing their 2018 transporter warpaint on social media. Stay across our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts for the latest photos.
